Q: Is online ordering from RealData secure?
A: RealData uses a secure server for online order processing and has its own secure certificate from Comodo. Your credit card information is encrypted and sent directly to the credit card processor; RealData does not store this information.
Q: I want to download the software, but I want a backup disk of the program.
A: We recommend that you either download the installer file(s) from us and save to blank floppy disks, CDs or DVDs. The installer files that you download from us are identical to the software on the CD that we mail to you.
Q: I want to download the software and have a CD shipped to me.
A: Order your products as downloads and add the CD media to your order. The CD Media option is available on the Purchase page which is accessed by clicking on the Purchase tab at the top of any page on our web site.
Q: How much does it cost to have a CD shipped to me?
A: Our current shipping charges are as follows for the Continental United States:
USPS Priority Mail: $10.00
FedEx 2 Day: $17.00
FedEx Standard Overnight: $27.00
Q: Why do I get only one CD from RealData if I ordered more than one product?
A: All of our products fit onto a single CD. You will need to run the install process for each application that you ordered.
Q: How do I get my downloaded software?
A: After the order is completed, you will receive several emails from us, including an email which contains serial number(s) and download link(s). Click on the link(s) to download the installer file(s), choosing the "Save File to Disk" option. We recommend that you save the file(s) to your desktop.
Q: How soon will my software be shipped?
A: We usually ship the same day or next business day.
Q: Are there advantages or disadvantages to downloading?
A: There are significant advantages to downloading. You will get your software immediately, you save shipping charges and you will be able to download periodic updates at no charge . CDs go out of date rapidly.
Q: What about User Guides?
A: Software installs with a user guide as a PDF file. Currently, we are only printing a user guide for Real Estate Investment Analysis Standard product.
Q: Do I need to have Microsoft® Excel® to use your products?
A: Yes. You must have Microsoft® Excel® version 2000 or later installed on your computer to use our software products; check the product pages for specific requirements. To check your Excel® version information, open Excel®, then click on "Help" then "About Excel®". A screen will appear with product information. |
