Mac and Windows users may encounter a run-time error message that says “Document not saved.”
This error is most common on Mac computers, and fortunately the solution is a simple one: Update your install of Office. Note that updating Office is separate from the regular Mac upgrade process. Within Excel, click on Help > Check for Updates.
