New Article: International Financing Could Save Real Estate Investors Thousands
I came across a brief but intriguing item in the newsletter of financial planner, Matthew Tuttle. The item concerned an opportunity where real estate investors might save considerable interest costs by using international banks. I’ve met Matthew and I know he’s a very bright guy who is often quoted in publications like WSJ and Forbes, so I felt there was more to tell. I asked him if he would expand upon his topic for the benefit of RealData’s readership. He very graciously did so, and his article is the feature of this month’s Dispatch. With the bond market behaving like a yo-yo in recent months, sophisticated real estate investors certainly will want to investigate any strategy that might help them gain some leverage on their costs of financing. Online Seminar Series Continues
We recently webcasted the first session in our online seminars, "Mastering Real Estate Investment." The series teaches investors about the financial measures that underlie all income-property investments. That first session covered basic topics, such as time value of money and discounted cash flow. Session Two is coming up in August and will cover the structure and use of pro-forma analyses (APOD, cash flow, income or loss, resale), measures of property value, and key financing-related calculations. If you haven't already signed up for Session Two, we urge you to do so. The cost of each session is $129, but we're offering a special bonus: Sign up for Session Two and receive a $99 credit toward the purchase of any RealData product whose regular price is $99 or more (exclusive of shipping).
You can get detailed information about all three sessions at http://realdata.com/p/webinar/ and you can register for any of the sessions from that page as well. We can accommodate a limited number of attendees so if you want to to join us, please don't delay.
Get Your Own Real Estate Web Site
We're always on the lookout for resources and services that can benefit our Dispatch readers and we believe we've found a promising one in realestatepromoter.com. These folks specialize in designing real estate web sites. They have agreed to offer their "Hybrid Website™" creation service as a free bonus to anyone who purchases one of our #4, #5 or #6 software bundles. As you can see from their site, their regular price for this service is $838.95.
This promotion will be good through August 31, 2007. Again, purchase one of our software bundles (#4, #5, or #6) -- and they'll give you the design
service at no cost. You should be aware that they do charge a monthly fee of $29.95 for managed hosting of the site. You can find out more about their
service at realestatepromoter.com.
We hope this will prove to be a valuable resource for those of you who need a web site, but please understand that realestatepromoter.com is an
independent company and is not connected to RealData, Inc. We are passing along their offer as a free bonus to our customers.
New Article: Real Estate Development Partnerships
Colm Dillon is an Australian developer who has completed over a billion dollars in projects in his career and recently has written several ebooks on the subject of real estate development. This month, he's written an article especially for our Dispatch readers, "A Real Estate Development Joint Venture Should Ideally Be Entered Into Between Equals." It's down-to-earth, practical advice for people who are starting out and perhaps getting involved in their first joint venture. Read this article and more at http://realdata.com/learn

Finally, in keeping with the international flavor of this issue of the Dispatch, we've found an interesting site called Property Showrooms. It's not just for homebuyers, but has a division called, 'International Property Investment Network." This site appears to offer a good array of resources for investors interested in international properties, including country guides. Worth a look.
